We are happy to announce that composer Ryan Richko has been officially nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media (HMMA) Award for his work on the Memory Match & Catch soundtrack. The Hollywood Music In Media Awards™ (HMMA) recognizes and honors the music of visual mediums (film, TV, movie trailers, video games, commercials, etc.), the talented individuals responsible for creating, producing and placing it and the music of artists, both mainstream and independent, from around the globe. GDEX is the Midwest’s premiere gaming Expo. Every year, GDEX graces the Columbus area with lots of game industry goodness. During the weekend on October 28th, GDEX 2016 kicked off at COSI (Center of Science and Industry) on W Broad St. Several of our key personnel showed off the latest builds from our upcoming games at the Squish Studios booth. We showed off the latest demos of Dragon Drop and Rupert N’ Riley: Shipwrecked along with our finished version of Memory Match & Catch. We wanted to take the time to thank everyone who stopped by to talk with us at GDEX. It was a great experience and we hope to be back next year. The version 1.2 update of our latest game, Memory Match & Catch was released for iOS and Android devices earlier this week. This update fixes a few bugs that some players were experiences. Memory Match & Catch is a puzzle game where you must collect different animals by matching their respective cards across eight different worlds. For those of you that have been following Squish Studios news lately, you should be familiar with our latest game release, Memory Match and Catch. The game was recently praised for its outstanding soundtrack in a review on the popular music blog, Original Sound Version. We are very excited to announce that we have secured a booth at PAX East 2016 (Booth #10243) and will be exhibiting Dragon Drop, Memory Match and Catch!, and a playable demo of Rupert and Riley: Shipwrecked. Dragon Drop has seen a lot of hardships, but late last year we finally got the dream team together and rebuilt the game from scratch using Unity.
